From the Desk of the Principal: August Newsletter

Welcome Back St. Christopher School Families,

Greetings to everyone, whether you are new to St. Christopher or you've been part of our family for a long time, welcome to an exciting new school year! This has been a busy summer for the administration and staff, preparing for the new year, participating in professional development, designing lessons for the new school year, and working hard to put the best possible staff in place for our students. I am so excited about the 2019-2020 school year.

I want to personally invite our new families to New Families to St. Chris Night August 20th 5pm-7pm, this night we invite you to meet your child's teacher and have the opportunity to learn all about out School communication system "Rediker" and use our school website as a resource. Our technology room will be available to assist any parents who will need login information.

We also have our Back to School Night August 21st from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. We have planned both these evenings to be both informative and productive since you will have a chance to visit teachers at your pace, and mingle with fellow parents. Please bring your kids with you that evening! School supply lists are available on our website. All forms are also available on our school website for your convenience.

We are very grateful for all parent support to St. Christopher School. This is also a great time for parents to continue their involvement, so I encourage you to become active with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and to volunteer when you are available. We will have a meeting for all parents interested in helping our school! Meeting will be Tuesday August 27th 5:00pm-6:00pm.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer vacation. The faculty and staff of St. Christopher School worked very hard to prepare for the 2019-2020 school year. We know how exciting and challenging a new school year can be for both children and their families. Participating in these events is a great way to get to know the teachers, staff, and fellow parents/caregivers who form such a wonderful and caring community around our children. We consider it a privilege to be a part of their lives.
