Terra-Nova Testing

The Terra Nova Test will be administered annually in the fall to all children in Grades 2-8.

The results of these tests enable the teacher to know how the class stands in relation to general standards, how much progress a child has made since the previous testing and they also provide a means for diagnosing a particular weakness. Test results are discussed at the mandatory parent conference scheduled during the first trimester.

If a teacher feels a child needs more testing, over and above our capabilities, he/she will suggest the parents have the child tested by an outside source such as the Clark County School District or private services.
